We are a family-run hotel with our own brewery in the Swabian Alb. We are also one of the most successful seminar and meeting houses in southern Germany. Due to our location in the heart of the Swabian
Alb we are an ideal starting point for short breaks. And in our in-house brewery our guests can slip into the apron of the brewmaster and brew their own beer.

Craftsmen of good taste
You will go through all the stations in the kitchen (that's what the departments within the kitchen are called): cold kitchen (Gardemanger), side dishes kitchen (Entremetier), meat/fish/sauces/stocks (Saucier & Rotisseur) and the dessert kitchen (Patissier).
You will also be working in service for a few months. It is important for you not only to be able to cook food for the guests, but also to learn how to be a good host to them.
You will learn how to cook really well, how to use professional kitchen equipment, how to plan and calculate meal sequences, how to store goods and much more.
Duration of training: 3 years
With secondary school certificate: Participation in the dual vocational college
Alternatively: Kitchen specialist (2 years training)

All-rounder & know-it-all
You will work in the following departments: service, buffet, kitchen, conference and event area, event sales, reception & housekeeping.
During this time, you will learn everything you need to know about everyday hotel life, along with attending vocational school. You will be amazed at how varied this job is.
Duration of training: 3 years
With secondary school certificate: Participation in the dual vocational college

Service expert & event specialist
You will work in the following departments: service, buffet, kitchen, conference & event area and event sales.
Whether it is a beer seminar, a hut evening, a large family meal or a lunch buffet. Every good meal requires friendly and competent service, a beautifully laid table and extensive knowledge of food and drinks. An essential part of the training is also planning events and
to carry out.
Duration of training: 3 years
With secondary school certificate: Participation in the dual vocational college
Alternatively: Specialist in catering (2 years training)
