THE BIOSPHERE HOSTS
Hoteliers and restaurateurs in and around the biosphere reserve have joined together to form the Biosphere Hosts to underline their connection with this unique cultural landscape and their commitment to their work. The Biosphere Hosts are proud of their region and feel committed to it.
PARTNER BIOSPHERE REGION SWABIAN ALB
Since 2000, cooperation programs have existed between protected areas and mainly tourist businesses. Regionally based businesses that meet high quality and environmental standards in accordance with national guidelines and act as ambassadors in their region are recognized as "partners." In total, there are currently 22 so-called "partner initiatives" in Germany with around 800 partner businesses.

We have been included since April 2009. We took part in three categories of the competition and achieved the following rankings:

"TASTE THE SOUTH" - RESTAURANT
The "Taste the South. Baden-Württemberg" restaurateurs are the state-wide association of regional restaurants and set the standard for trustworthy, regional enjoyment. Only dishes whose raw materials can be proven to come from Baden-Württemberg can be awarded as dishes. The more lions a restaurant is awarded, the more regional raw materials are used. This is checked regularly.

For 60 years we have been a strong gastronomic community, unique in Europe, offering good Baden-Württemberg hospitality, from inns to Michelin-starred restaurants, a collegial network from which committed masters benefit as much as their employees.
HIKING GERMANY
QUALITY HOSTS
The German Hiking Association has been setting nationwide quality standards with the "Quality Host Hiking Germany" for more than nine years now. In the meantime, over 1,600 Quality Host Hiking Germany in all regions have adapted to the needs of hikers. Qualified advice, maps and good service for all equipment are a matter of course here.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Baden-Württemberg together with the Chamber of Architects of Baden-Württemberg (Reutlingen/Tübingen) and the Regional Council of Tübingen awarded our house.
